Gage County Conventions Overview

1.County Convention order of business, date, time and place shall be determined at the beginning of the convention by the Gage County Chair.

2. Executive Committee officers: Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary and Treasurer are elected by the County Committee unless previously elected at the County Convention.

3. Votes cast in the County Convention shall be cast by delegates or alternates personally present and no proxy voting shall be permitted.

4. In even numbered years, a County Convention is held between March 15th and April 15th.

5. Members desiring to become delegates and planning to attend the County Convention shall register with the Gage County Clerk between January 1st and March 1st of even numbered years.
