Gage County GOP County Committee Overview
1. General Management of the affairs and governance of the Party shall be fixed by the County Committee, subject to direction of the County Convention.
2. Approves the allocation, budgeting and disbursement of Party funds.
3. County Committee Members are elected during the County Convention from the Republican registered voters who have registered as delegates. These County Committee Members are from each County Supervisor District within Gage County (7 districts, 14 members), consisting of one man and one woman in each district.
4.Term of office for County Committee Member is approximately two years or until their respective successors have been selected. A County Committee Delegate position shall be declared vacant if the member: 1) Ceases to reside in Gage County; 2) Ceases to remain a registered Republican voter; 3) Is absent from three (3) consecutive County Committee Meetings without cause.
5. Meetings of the County Committee, in addition to other meetings as prescribed may be called by the Chair of the Executive Committee or by written request of not less than one-half of the County Committee members. The Chair shall convene a meeting of the County Committee at least once every two months.
6. A quorum for the County Committee meetings shall be established with a majority of County Committee members present. Only County Committee members have voting rights with majority constituting 8 of the 14 members as the majority.

Must be a Registered Republican.
Support the Gage County GOP Misson.
To become a delegate you must fill out the form at the County Court House and get it notarized. Check with the County Clerk’s office or website to see when dates are open to register.
Responsibilities of a delegate are to attend the monthly GOP meetings and participate.
Volunteer for events (Republican booth at county fair, fundraisers , parades, handout candidate brochures, etc.)
